How does this program work?  

All spay/neuter surgeries are done by a licensed experienced veterinarian at IndyHumane’s Downtown Clinic at 456 N. Holmes Avenue.  Surgery appointments are scheduled on Mondays through Thursdays.  There are NO weekend or holiday hours.  

What does HF NOT do?

Our program and this clinic is for healthy pets for spay/neuter only.  Vaccines are only given with spay/neuter appointments.  

 If your pet is injured or sick, he/she needs to see a full-service veterinarian first.  

We are also not scheduling services to the following breeds: English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, and Pekinese. For these dogs, it is best to use a full-service veterinarian in case of the need for further care.  

If your dog is overly aggressive to humans, it would be best to use a full-service clinic for everyone’s safety.
